where are you located? If you're not too far I'd be happy to help. My acans/micros are doing great. I'm in Serra Mesa right above the stadium. PM me if you like :)

I appreciate the help Baro. Techno is taking care of it right now since he lives closer to me but I definitely appreciate the helping hand.

It looks like the Acan frag. may have a bacteria infection. Sometimes with Acans. you'll have to quaratine them as they'll pass it on to other Acans. in your system. Hope this is not the case though. Good luck.

Not good man. I placed him inches away from my acan that is doing great, but it was almost dead anyways :(.

I wouldn't say it was almost dead it had decent enough color to be saved but if you want i'll just pick it up.

I had one do that, put it in a very low light area. In my case i put it in my sump under a crappy light to grow chaeto for 3-4months then moved it into a shaded area of my main tank where its now fully recovered. I thought it was dead for sure.

This guy looks way far from completely gone to me (at least in the pic). I'm still willing to give it a shot, just LMK :)

I have one that looked just like that, no joke, from the move. It took about 2 months before it perked up a bit and now it is back to full fluff and even grew a head. Don't give up on these guys they are the hardiest coral I have ever owned.
