I will be doing some extensive traveling and need to shut down my small reef tank. I started it 7 years ago with 16 lbs of Tonga live rock and 37 lbs of Fuji live rock plus live sand. I have grown some wonderful mushrooms and polyps (see picture) over the years. I have a crew of snails and crabs as well as a sea cucumber (he's only out at nights) along with a Percula Clownfish, Yellow Wrasse, Royal Gramma, and Randall's Goby (white with orange lines). I have a CPR Skimmer, a CPR Refugium, two powerheads, emergency power supply, etc., etc. Although I'd like to sell the entire tank at once, I'm willing to piece it out if that's the only alternative to dumping it.

can you add some details, like was wondering is there any sump / plumbing or just hob cpr stuff, acrylic or glass, lighting?

I have a refugium instead of a sump - it's a fairly small tank at 40 gallons. The tank is acyrlic and is lit by six compact flourescents - half actinic / half 10,000K. I built the stand out of oak about five years ago.

I live in PQ.

Royal Gramma $6
Randall's Goby $12

I'll take these, as long as you are within a reasonable distance. Where are you located? I could pick up tonight, or on Wednesday or later next week.

A suggestion: update your profile in the user control panel with your general location.

I've received nine private messages, two interested in the entire setup. If I can sell it that way I'll obviously do that. If those of you interested in pieces can wait a minute or two I would appreciate it. I doubt that I can catch any of the fish without taking the rock out. So if I have to do it piecemeal the rocks will be available first - then the fish. I'm new to this web site so don't know how to send emails other than replying to private messages. Can someone give me a tutorial? Thanks! As I mentioned in a previous post, I live in PQ (i.e., Rancho Penasquitos) near Black Mountain Road and Highway 56.

Oops... I didn't notice that "PQ"

Without a doubt, sell the whole thing in one shot if you can!
