coincidently, last Friday the 13th was probably the worst of day my life, with the exception of the pleasant SDMAS meeting.
....it was a longggg series of unfortunate events..
Genuinely, i 4got that it's the 13th til the end of the day, but that was kinda weird.

one of them was running a yellow light on Aero (going into Fry's) and the camera flash snapped at me. i'm expecting a notice in the mail in a month, right? i really want to fight this one cuz it was yellow for the most part and only 1/2 my car was still in the intersection when it turned red.
any experience with this?
i've never had a ticket and my record has been streak clean.

how much is it usually?
do you think i have a good chance?
is it a tedious process to appeal?

thanks

i found this link. i know it's a Texas website, but the first paragraph says:

What is a red light running violation?
When a motorist enters an intersection after the traffic signal has turned red.
Motorists already in the intersection when the signal changes to red, when waiting to turn for example, are not considered red light violators.

http://www.sugarlandtx.gov/police/SafeLight/RedLightCameraFAQ.asp

which CLEARLY defines that i'm innocent.
any similiar CA websites out there?

They take a few pictures, intersection, stop line, plates and driver and one from behind, as long as you were pass the line when it turns red, you are not ticketed. Otherwise it is like 270. If they can't see your face thats about the only appeal you have. Your supposed to lower the sun visor as you go into the intersection.
