I have been making a number of racks for members and wanted to make an official thread with a list of the products I am set up to produce as well as some images, pricing information and construction details.
Originally I was making racks just for a frag, but I got allot of people saying they don't have a frag. That is okay, this is why I am providing you pricing information, but I would still prefer a frag. I see more value in a coral you choose to pass on to me than money, so if you got a coral that is growing out of hand, break me of a piece. We will both be happy you did.
One last statement before I get on to the details. I know there are other ways to accomplish what I am providing to you. My goal is to provide a very affordable system for frag mounting that is stable, secure, solid, reliable and will stand up to the rigors of use in your reef environment, while having as little a visual impact themselves as possible. My rack and mag frag plugs do exactly what they should do, stay put. Thanks for reading and I hope you like what you see.
Now for the details
Racks are made with;
Black Eggcrate 1/4" very solid.
Eggcrate is smoothed out.
Eggcrate material doesn't attract algae more than it should
40lbs pull magnets that are fully sealed and marine safe.
Magnets are strong enough for all common thickness's.
Affixed with super glue.
Sealed inside rack with Aquarium Silicon for a solid fit.
Both Rack Magnets and Outside magnets are sealed before construction.
Safe for glass and acrylic.
Fully Cured.
Fit all common plugs.
Racks available in ANY size and shape.
Optional stability legs available on request. ( with these mags you won't need them)
Racks are guaranteed for life. I'll replace it no matter what you did wrong.
I accept paypal, cash, scripps water, fish, frags, or trade of other sorts.

Rubber Coated Magnets
Rubber coated magnets which are used in all the applications listed here. The large magnets should hold up to .5" or more depending on the usage. The smaller magnets are to be used for 1/8th inch glass and a light to moderate load. All magnets are reef safe and nick, scratch and cut resistant.
Large 6$ a piece
Small 2$ a piece
Mag Frag Plugs
Mag Frag Plugs are assembled using a ceramic frag top and, a silicon seal for a tight fit with little footprint in your tank. The clay easily mounts any frag and the large frag plug could hold just about anything you would want to mount on it. The smaller frag plug is primarily used for light branching sps frags. You can use a stronger magnet outside to enhance the small frag plugs holding power. These plug magnets were designed to have a minimal presence in your tank and let the frags do the talking.
Large MagPlugs 12$ a set
Small MagPlugs 10$ x 2

This shot looks a little weird because I have the magnet turned to make the frag turn against the natural weight of the frag, rotation of the frag is done by twisting the outside magnet.

Magnet Tie Downs
This was a custom order and I decided it was such a good idea I would offer them. The magnet is rubber coated as usual and is has a tube secured through the middle of the magnet for securing with a zip tie. Useful for securing tubing, heaters or other odd things that just won't stay put.
Mag Tie 12$ a set.
