Well thanks to my wonderful apartment contract rules I can have no large tanks(my empty 60 is sitting on my balcony).....so I have started to set up a small 12 gallon temperate nano. I got the tank and lights from SoKaL ReeFiN (much thanks!). Here are a couple of pics (hope this works have never tried to post pics). Sorry no corals in this setup!

something different... i like that. do you plan on putting any other life in there... sponges, inverts, low light corals, etc.?

Thanks....as for fish I have a mating pair of bay blennies as well as an orangemouth. Also a recruit paralabrax as well as a 1" scorpionfish. Inverts would include the usual snails/hermits, as well as corraline algae and red algae. I will most likely add some specific anemones as well as sponges and a cucumber in time (just fyi many local inverts cannot be kept in an aquarium due to natural toxic secretions....many stars have this problem). As for corals, sorry no "true" corals in these water temps. Any questions feel free to ask.....
