Justin, try Reptile City in Mission Gorge or Midway. My buddies own it and they hook it up.

you have Mikes aquarium in sping valley for the crickets and petsmart has the wax worms in stock 24/7

Try flukerfarms.com if you want to get them in the mail, they have this thing where they will send them on whatever schedule you need them, its cool

breed them. wax worms are kind of hard but crickets are easy and relatively cheap to breed. meal worms are even easier.

Don't know how much your paying but SD pet supply warehouse has them for
$22.25 per 1000 crickets and $9.50 for 250 waxworms.

I used to buy from them before my local pet store started carrying them for $20/1000. These guys are off the 67 in lakeside.

Wow, i can see how a breeder might want 1000 crickets but IMO if you are just a hobbyist those 1000 crickets will probably perish before you get to use them all, thats the cool think about fluker farms you get crickets at your door, and its the right amount that you need for that period of time till your next delivery.

PS. I have bred my own crickets before and it is a smelly/loud/annoying operation. You will have escaped crickets running all over and chirping 24/7
