Free Mystery Shrimp (loud)

Hi all; after a rather tedious process of elimination; I have finally found my prey (See Picture)

It pops; so I don't know if this is a Pistol shrimp or Mantis shrimp (You tell me) but it is free to someone who wants it (Can anyone say species tank??). PM me if interested; I work in Kearney Mesa between Fry's/Aquatic Warehouse.

im interested. how often does it pop?

Depends on his mood; some days he doesn't pop at all (The reason for the long search/extraction time).

Most nights that I am home he will pop 2-4 times between 4 pm and 'lights out' at 11ish. He's about 1/2" long and clear; making it a good manhunt in a 55G tank..

thanks for the pistol shrimp tom. i set up a 2.5 gallon for him and now im waiting to get him a friend. :)
