View Full Version : 36" stand and canopy for sale ?

We got this stand and canopy with the tank we bought as a package deal. It is brand new! The Stand dimensions are 36 x 19 x 31 and the canopy is 10" high. The canopy front is fixed and the lid lifts up. It is both oak and oak veneer. It seems to be one that you can buy and screw together yourself. I would add a few more supports inside to be safe.
It looks really nice just not what we are after. Please feel free to email for additional information. If we do not get any interest here we may put it on Ebay or Craigslist. Any ideas on what we should ask for it or any offers?

Thanks

ok, I assume that no one needs a stand so the question of the day is how much should I ask for the stand on ebay? (I did get an offer for $50 from someone but I think it worth more that)

Thanks!

hard to say isn't that a custom size. So you gotta find somebody with a tank that size.

Good dimensions for 40-50 gallon tanks, there might be a little room in the back for a fuge, dosing pump, etc....

good luck!

What does it look like with the doors open? Is there a support in the middle or is it maintenance friendly and allow you to get into the sump/wet dry?

corb66
02-17-2005, 04:45 PM
there is a support. Here is a link to more pics.

Thanks

there's a fine line between trying to be "funny" and "downright annoying" ... i see someone is teetering towards the latter. don't lowball; it gets you nowhere...

luistwentyone

I thought lowballing was standard practice ?

whats wrong with trying to get a heck of a deal ?

are you serious $90 ?

corb66
03-23-2005, 04:59 PM
something wrong with $90? I know it is worth at least $150 but it is really only worth what someone will pay you for it. Pretty soon I will need the space in the garage more than an extra $50.

corb66
03-24-2005, 09:59 AM
best offer so far is $90 (includes delivery). I will sell it this Sat-Sun to highest offer.

luistwentyone
03-24-2005, 09:59 AM
as far as I'm concerned, there is absolutely nothing wrong with $90, but I just don't understand what was wrong with my $100 offer.

corb66
03-24-2005, 10:13 AM
at the time I didn't need to sell it. We are doing some remodeling and we will need the garage space to lay out materials.

luistwentyone
03-24-2005, 10:56 AM
"at the time I didn't need to sell it."

huh ? so why take the time to type up a post and list it as "For Sale" ?

corb66
03-24-2005, 11:09 AM
get a life...

I knew I would never use the stand and canopy so I listed it for sale. I did not need the money and I had the extra space to store it until it sold at a fair price . As I have said three times now, I need the garage space because we are remodeling so I am willing to sell it cheaper to move it.

If you are having a hard time understanding this please just move on.

luistwentyone
03-24-2005, 11:22 AM
you need to start showing some respect.

if I put something on the "For Sale" forum, I intend on SELLING.

at no time did I disrespect you. but I will move on.

"if I put something on the "For Sale" forum, I intend on SELLING."

at what point did I not intend on selling it? Dakota came over and checked it out 2 weeks ago.

BTW, I will not show respect for people whom get a smart a$$ tone in their replys like yours above. Thanks for moving on and I suggest you watch how you word your replies next time.
