I transitioned the contents of this tank over to a 180g and want to sell the tank, stand & canopy pictured below. (I had it up for sale back in November & the buyer fell through.)

Tank dimensions are 72Lx18Dx28T = 150 gallons
Tank is not drilled. (I used a siphon overflow.)
Glass is 1/2" thick if you want to get it drilled.
I should note...the tank is extremely HEAVY!!

Stand and canopy are custom done (not by me).
Canopy is of my design and had MHs mounted inside. This put the MH about 10" off the water. It would be easy to shrink this distance if you so desire.
Top of canopy is vented, so heat was never an issue.
(For clarity, no lighting is included with this.)

Cabinet stands 34" tall and canopy takes the total height of the unit to 75" tall.
As you'll see in the pics below, the tank/stand combo is furniture quality, and has resided in 2 living rooms.
I'd like to get $350 for tank, stand & canopy, but you're welcome to offer more... ;)

Pics follow ~ You'll see that I used it as a FOWLR. Please ignore evident cyano within tank and diatoms on the glass. I should've cleaned it before taking the pictures. :D

It's currently taken down and been in my garage since November. I'm located near Temecula and it's available for pickup at any time...

Sorry to be hard-nosed...perhaps it's due to the last non-buyer, but here's the conditions I'd put on a payment plan...

I'd accept a payment plan if:
you wanted to make all payments prior to receipt of aquarium
you agreed to pay the full amount ($350) within a 6 week time frame, spread over three payments of $150, $100 and $100, due every two weeks, respectively.
you agree to forfeit all monies deposited & your interest in the aquarium if you miss and/or are late more than 24 hrs with any scheduled payment
you agree to pickup the aquarium within 14 days of your final payment, otherwise you forfeit all money deposited for the aquarium
you understand that the aquarium will remain for sale until the first installment of $150 is received from you
you make all payments utilizing paypal, money order or cashier's check
Don't know if those terms are acceptable to you. I understand not having the money. However, that does kind of take away the power of negotiation...

Wow, your'e tough :( Remind me never to get into a legal dispute with you :D

No I totally agree, I learned the hard way never to ship or turn over anything that isn't paid for, it's a shame it has to be that way but there are some real losers out there.

sounds resonable, but I'd like to check it out first, is that okay, And also what about just paying cash?

WHAT?? You want to see it??? ;) Of course...no problem...I'd want to, too! :D
I'm located near Temecula. Let me know when you want to come by & I'll PM you directions.

Cash is no problem, particularly if you live close, but I didn't think you'd want to drive up 3 times just to drop off a payment...

PS--Thanks for the encouragement, David M. It's sad to not be as generous & gracious as you want to be... :(

Sure. No problem. I'll be doing projects around the house that day so just give me a rough time estimate so that I'm not at Lowes or Home Depot when you arrive. :)

PS--PM sent with directions

sorry I am new at this, How do I view a PM?

Bulldog

No problem. Look on this page at the little buttons to the right of where it says "San Diego Reef Forums" -- you'll see one marked "User CP" (User Control Panel)
http://www.sdreefs.com/forums/images/top_profile.gif
When you click on that, it will open up a page that lets you view private messages (PMs), subscribed threads, etc.

Also, in your "options", you can select to be email-notified anytime you receive a PM, and that email will provide a direct link to your PMs.

Hope this helps & make sense!
