oh, haha. the fish room in temecula.

mike, the owner, is selling them for 30 but he knocked it down to 20 because it didnt have the media inside the tank, but who needs that stuff, right?

The next time you're there, look at the ceiling inside Matt's office.

i have the same tank, just gutted the crappy stock lighting and added 1x32w... how did u manage to fit 2x32w in the lighting section under splash guard?

can u post a picture of what your hood looks like?

ninhsavestheday

i had to angle the lights. my hood looks super ghetto though (its stilll stock).

but the extra 32 is soo worth it. makes the whole tank soooo much bright than 1x32.

ill post pix tomorrow.

cool, thanks :)

i do have an extra 32w retro that i could yank from my nano-cube to toss into the AR330 but i dunno how good it would look all crammed up and "angled" as you said... i'm also afraid of the temps getting too hot up in the lil hood section. so you didn't yank out the stock lighting?

i think w/the 1x32w it puts out enough light for a simple zoo's/mushroom (maybe some LPS) tank :P but if u can show me a pic of the 2x32w i might find ways to try and upgrade lighting too

if youre big on making your tank look professional, then youll hate the way i modded my lights. it looks awkward because the lights is to big; therefore, the hood is lifted a little bit off the tank. but the good thing is gives a little bit of space to reduce heat. my tank stay at a constant 82 degrees. but i know i have to do something about it when summer swings around.

you see how my lights are tilted. the bulb holders are screwed to the sides of the hood not the top

Ahh, i see.... now u got me thinking about adding more light.

i might consider making the 32w a 10K and add 2 of these 10w act03 T-5's in there

pretty sure all could fit in the lil splash guard area... just wondering if it's worth the $ in such a small simple tank :P
