Where can you get magnets that are reef safe. . . i am assuming that regular magnets are not reef safe so where can you get them incased in something to make them safe or what do you use to encase them . . . any help would be appreciated.

you can coat them in "Plastic Dip" available at hardware stores (used to coat hand tool handles)

I bought magnets at the liquidation store next to OG and coated them and mounted some with fiber glass resin works like charm $20 for 12 magnets 3/4 X 3/4 X 30lbs full

got an old junk disk drive? take that apart and get the ones off the servo motor (moves the heads on the disk) extremely strong.

thanks for all the info . . i wasn't sure if that plastic dip stuff was safe for tanks so i think i will try that first and see how it goes
