Hey Daniel,

Yea.. I think the ligthing is 28w, if I'm not mistaken. Pet kingdom has the replacement bulb and they sell it from around $20 or so. It has been awhile since the last time I looked at the tank.

Marineland Eclipse Hood 10 x 20
another item I found in my garage nicely wrapped in the box -

Used Marineland Eclipse Hood 10 x20. It has twin lamp, fits any 10 x 20 aquarium frame (10 gallon, 15 gallon, or 18 gallon high). Used it for freshwater but now just chilling in the cabinet.

The hood is great for anyone who likes to DIY their own filter system for their reef.

Hmm.. don't even know how much to sell it for. NEW PRICE $40? Anyone?

I also have a Cascade 500 Canister Filter. Used for only one month. Upgraded my filter system so don't need this anymore.

Filters 115 gallons per hour.
For aquariums up to 30 gallons.
Comes complete and ready for easy setup.
Has all the original items & box.

asking price - $50 and it's yours!

Please don't pass on my account. It's really more than I want to spend. I'll probably just get a little eclipse from petco.

just an empty tank, light, built in filter on the back, and pump. No stand! You can use a file cabinet as a stand. That's what i did before. I have used heater that i can throw in too, if you want. basically the tank is built exactly like a nanocube.

dude... youd be buying a complete dry setup. Hood, tank, light, built in filter, its just like a nano cube except its only 7 gallons.

The other hood is for a different setup.

will that canister filter a 29 gal planted tank well enough? I have an aquaclear 200 on it, and I've been meaning to upgrade to a canister.. but 115 gph?? Is that enough??

Hey wildtigg3r,
Did you sell your ALIFE 7 yet?
I've had mine setup & running for 3 years now & I could use a different tank for parts, mainly the hood.
By the way the picture you posted is my ALIFE 7 when it was first setup, so you need to pay me big bucks for copyright infringment.

wildtigg3r, can you give specifics on what type of workhorse ballast and bulb combination you used with the ALife and the installation procedure you used? I have an ALife as well that needs the stock lights replaced.

I highly recommend that you install two 27-watt bulbs with remote ballast(s) and maybe even add two T-5 lights. That would give you a total of 74 watts in the ALIFE 7. Not a bad option.

You can order the ballast & bulbs from Nanocustoms. http://nanocustoms.com/catalog/
Check my link below for pictures with two lights in the ALIFE.
