Posted this on RC yesterday evening & realized this morning I never posted it here...
Item: Single 65w powercompact (6500k)
Cost: on sale for $18
Location: your local Home Depot
Went to buy a light for my refugium and learned that Home Depot is having a sale on these... (This is not their normal price...a 27w usually costs $35 there.) I didn't think to ask how long the sale lasts, but my bet would be through Sunday.
It's basically an outdoor flood type light which means self-contained, fairly watertight & built-in reflector.
They had white & bronze. (I went with white.)
Great for mounting over refugiums & with the right canopy, you could probably stick 2-3 under there as well...
Just thought others would like to know! :D
