If you are so into TV that you NEED something this big......... admit you have a problem, go somewhere and get help. It is after all.......... still just a television......... besides.... imagine the tank you could build with that kind of cash!

Yeah........ that big a$$ TV would be pretty cool if you were swimming in cash and had a movie theater in your house. Godzilla would be awesome.... and the Blue Planet CDs and ..... well.... okay.......... buy us both one. :)

Not bashing......... , not at all. There is just a place where we no longer own it and it owns us.

I don't care what anyone says. I like BIG.........and so I LOVE that giant TV.Just think, I could play videos of me racing and it would be just like being in the race with me. Helmet cam would be insane. Football watching would be the ultimate. Add a big fat surround sound system and everything would as if you were actually there. Horror flicks would probably scare you into a heart attack however. Perhaps there could be a draw back or two.........nahhhhhhhh. Go Big !!!

When the technology is more advanced, that big screen will come on a huge roll like thin carpet that you just attach to the wall. They can already make films that are super thin that change colors. Bill Gates has them in the windows of his house. They have reostats that allow him to darken the windows. The revolution in technology is just starting. We have to remember that the Internet was pretty new in 1994. Moore's Law= the power of the technology doubles every 18 months, while the cost of the same technology goes down by half. Remeber when VCRs were $1,800.00?

Check out Smart House (http://www.smarthouse.com.au/). Great review of OLED.

How would you mount that thing on your wall?

Just like you do now with big screen plasmas. Just make sure you find some studs in the wall. My friend has a huge flat screen and it actually hangs from the ceiling beams.

You will need a huge room to appreciate this size of TV. Pixels on this TV are going to be a size of golf balls. Remember your HD TV source has fixed number of pixels. So bigger screen means more faded picture, that all......Its funny to see people with 10x10 room with a 65" screens.

not too far from then, tv screens will be painted on with nano pixel paint. i saw a show about it on discovery a while back. the paper thin flexible screen is already in production on some pda if i recall correctly.
