You have to remember that people that are underage use this site. Do you reallly want to have to get through multiple screens warning about adult content just because Moore has to protect himself? There are actually laws that govern this stuff. Personally, I don't care one way or the other, but a little respect for other people that might have an issue with it would go a long way.

Actually, to be clear, this isn't an AOL chat room. There are general social guidlines we follow here....we have to cater to as many memebers as we can without alienating others. To make a big deal out of something like this just puts us in a ****ty situation.

I am not complaining about your avatar, Anthony. I am commenting on your lack of respect for people here that do not want to see it. And although you are correct that there are no posted regulations regarding it, there are definately laws governing it. If this whole thing continues to escalate it is logical to assume that the line will be crossed and the owner and management of this site can get into trouble. None of us want that. Is it really necessary to make such a big deal out of this? It's all kind of silly.

I once asked MR. Moore to remove one member's avatar because he posted on my tank build thread and wife found it offensive. Mr. Moore kindly instructed me to turn off viewing avatars. I recommend the same. Simply go to User Options and uncheck a box, see below:
