I wanted to know what is the best thing to feed my yellow tang. I just got him two days ago and he is not eating the seaweed/algae that I put on a clip. My Wrasse and Anthias however devour the stuff., and will not stop picking at it. I am looking for something that the tang will eat but the other fish will not. Any help please.

any live plants, otherwise try any and all tupes of different foods. Did you check and see that it ate before you bought- you can ask to see it eat before buying.

I'll tell you what works for me every time.
Ocean Nutrition's-Formula Two, soaked in Garlic Guard.

The other fish eat it too though.

Mine will eat anything. When I first got him, it took 3 months before he started eating Nori, the roasted kind at Asian supermarket, $2.00 for 10 big sheets. Now he loves the stuff.

Algea clip might work or prawn eggs.

Often it takes em a little time to get used to the dry algae, give it time.
