Anyone go this? easy to get or hard to get morph? Nice or ok looking? Once again just looking for opinions. 400 bucks an average price for a piece this color and size? Hard to pay "full price" for that red on when SWI sold me one very very similar for 31 bucks .

WHICH IS NICER?????

Keep in mind polyps are all retracted in that pic... they look a lot more "dull" when expanded. Just something to watch out for... otherwise it looks pretty nice! Not sure if I'd pay $400 for that though, but it seems to be the avg going price for a colony that large.

true about the colors being more dull when expanded, but that's a sweet acan, definitely not your typical color morph. They usually run pretty expensive, but $400 seems a bit much to me

But, it's a nice morph of close to what fifty polpys?

That's only little over $8 per.

Looks good!! Give it sometime and show us the end morph on that thing. As far as price? Any of the above that say it's to much considering current market supply and demand, show me where you guys get yours from that is this color and better for cheaper and I will pay you a headhunter fee $$$.

Can't argue with that. I've seen colonies not nearly as nice go for more. Sometimes ridiculous prices

I have a similar morph to that, and I love it.
Here's a pic on one of the frags I made.

Nice acan!

And as far as the Head:Total Price ration, I say, not bad.

I know!!! Thought for sure it would go for more than that considering what people pay for such a piece. Must be christmas budgets are maxx'n people out for personal goodies right now, anywho here is what we are talking about.

what did you say about SWI and an acan for $31

Ya really!!!! What was that about SWI and a $31 Acan? Here is a link to RM's new Aussie shipment http://reefermadness.us/HandPicked.htm prices seem to show market value at current demand because most have sold.

Red one is nicer IMO.

my opinion is to go with the red one.
the purple does look better IMO up close,
but i think you will be happier with the red one looking at the tank from a distance.
if your not up close to the purple one, it might come out as just a gray until you look at it closely.
both are very nice

For me it seems that price has a direct relationship to survivability. The higher the price, the faster I kill it.

Probably because harder to keep = harder to propagate = more rare = more expensive?

*shrug* That would make sense.

There's something not quite right about the pics on Reefermadness. Like they added too much sharpen and saturation in Photoshop.
