I have a Tunze nanostream 6045 and I will buy the NEW Return pump if Jo Jo decides. I can also contribute more dependingon what is needed.

Since I dont have much in the way of equipment and live stock ( I have some nice frogspawn) Can we keep a running list, so some of us can see what is left to get or even if just money is helpful.

I agree with Peter. The tank needs to get set up first if this is gonna happen. Unfortunately I have no equipment to add, but please do keep us posted on tank progress and when it'll be ready to re-stock

I got one of my Visual Mechanics Calcium Reactors for you with pump. Depending on his Electical load, we may need to up his breaker. Any electricians down to change it out for him. I have a bunch of outlets too! Lets make him a power center like Jasper makes! We got enough corals it looks like! Anyone have say , a Quiet one 6000 or similar pump so we can do a closed loop for him? I have boxes and boxes of pvc fittings to redo the plumbing if need be! I will even give him the 1st protoype of my water change device. I can even throw in his own scripps water hose if he needs one. Everyone's got a grip of stuff. Let's focus on equipment . I think it would be easier for us to figure out what needs to be done once we see his setup. I can bring all my woodworking and plumbing tools if he needs a canopy made as well. It doesn't take long if I have a couple extra hands! I don't have a co2 tank or reg to donate. Sunday works good for me too. Is anyone down to do maybe a bbq to keep all fed and working?

12-01-2007, 11:00 AM
well I'm sure I have some bright orange pavona and some surf & turf SPS I could give him. I'll give you one of my orange rics as well. And I don't have a lot of other stuff, but I live by scripps and can bring water down. But I'm only good for 25 gallons with my current jug situation.

I am coordinating with Peter right now on a time. I am gonna give JOJO a call and tell him our intentions. Hopefully he's down!!!!!!!!!!! I think those who ordered a scripps hose may need to pick it up at JOJO"s house.

Wow. You guys are the best!

I am sorry, I have pretty much nothing to donate, as my tank has very little equipment in the first place.

Well if you guys need a place to hold corals/lr/ls etc I have 4-6 30 gal rubbermaid bins that I can donate to the cause!

I'll be by late morning with an extended-runtime 1400VA UPS to help prevent power-loss diasters. It's an older model, but I just replaced the batteries a few weeks ago. Hopefully you guys can shoehorn it in. I'd love to stay and help in any way I could, but I have to fly to Miami:(

If someone can pickup in Garden Grove, I'd like to donate nearly his entire plumbing package: bulkhead fittings, ballvalves, PVC fittings, glue/primer, etc. what ever it takes. If nothing else, I could probably ship the items a couple days before if someone has a list of items needed.

I also have test kits, additives, salt, food, and various other peripheral items I can throw in.

That would be great if you're going to be in the area. Please let me know if/when this is confirmed.

Does anyone have an idea of what plumbing parts will be needed? Alternatively, just give me a basic idea of the system that you want to build and I'll put together a package of parts.
IE: aquarium/sump size, pump, closed-loop?, drain/return size, # of outlets, etc.

thanks,
Kevin
