if i have a 2-96 square pin 36 inch light and ballast and i want to replace the 96 watts with 65watt bulb shorter like 24"
hummmmmmmmm can i do that........

what kind of ballast is it? Most ballasts allow you to run several types/watages of lighting.

The ballast you have is only designed to run 96 watt pcs, from what I have found, but interestingly enough, 65 watts pc ballasts can run 2x28 watt pc bulbs.

To find out if can use this ballast, you would have to open the ballast box to see if it can be rewired for use with other bulbs. Keep me posted.

i am not doing that
i just trade it for shorter one


my canopy is exactly 36 the light will stick out
i need shorter one
