If you put your finger at the top of the water it will swim right up to you ;) . It wastes turbo snails and mussels, and one damsel

Yup, its in a 5g hex now bc thats the only acrylic tank I had. I had it in a AGA 10g and I was worried it would break the glass. It lives alone except for its meal of snails.

so a steady camera and fumbly magnifying glass comes out better than a stumbly camera? or are you tripodding both?

No that is sloppy hand on the mag glass. I try and rest it on something but usually just holding it.
