My coworker just recieved a batch of wii modchips. He charges $90 for chip+install+2games. Just got mine done and all is awesome. He guarantees the installation, if he messes up the wii during installtion, he buys you a new one.

you can probably find roms around the net.. you can play gamecube games etc...you can probably find wii iso files on torrents. He buys all the wii games every week and backs them up. He sells them for $6 a game

lol thats his deal. He buys all the originals using the money from modding. Well as he explained to me.. installing the modchip is not illegal. He doesnt keep a backup but just real games. I really wasnt paying attention becuase i was on sdreefs LOL

I buy all my xbox 360 games and i did with my wii after my 15th game. Then it really started getting costly so i say F* it.. if i can get the games for $6 instead of $60 .. i much rather spend that $54 on my aquatic addictions

if people do this MOD will they still be able to get system updates and firmware downloads?

yeah... it doesnt hinder then wii in any way. It just lets you play your backups. Playing Mario Galaxy makes u updated so it will work, and whatever i do to my wii .. im pretty sure i can help you out with new features and whatever.
