Does anyone have an idea of a good place and cheap place to host a party? I am on the social committee for the high school I work at and we are looking for a nice place to have our Holiday party.

It has to hold 100 people. IT does not have to serve food and alcohol all though that would be great. We can supply our own. We''d like it to be fairly nice but obviously beggars cant be choosers.

Anyone want to donate theie awesome house that has a beach view and is amazing? :)

Let me know if you guys can think of something.

try some of the rec centers alot of them have conference rooms and such on the real cheap.

Yup, That's the way to go. 2 of my step daughters had their weddings there.

11 years ago you use to be able to rent out Birch Aquarium in La Jolla. Don't know about now. My husband and I were married out by the tide pools and then had our reception inside.

Best wedding ever!
