2 10,000k aqualine bulbs - one works great but the other doesn't turn on till after 3 hours or so, which was longer than I ran my lights. they were bought at the same time, so I don't know what the deal is with the one bulb (maybe a dirty connection).

how old are the bulbs?

The bulbs are old but not used that much. I would say about 3 hours a day for 6 months. Wasn't growing any bad algae for me.
