Last time the Boston Bruins had their stuff together was back in the Phil Esposito and Bobby Orr era IMHO.

Back when hockey was played without helmets....

Bruins (Orr, Esposito), Celtics (Bird, AInge Parrish)), Patriots(Brady) , and now (finally!!!) the Red Sox (Manny, Ortiz) have had their eras when they were the "team to beat" althought the Sox were long overdue for that.
