Any body own a Nautilus Skimmer (TE or EX)?

Whats your take on these skimmers? Are they efficient?

I got my eye on the Nautilus and Berlin Turbo...Im gonna need a skimmer rated for at least 200gls.

I plan on getting a new skimmer and dont know what to get. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I would suggest a Euroreef or clone. You might want to make a clone of the euroreef yourself. Both SDMike and I have successfully done this. Mine is based on a Sedra 9000 and a Sparklets water bottle. Cost is under $200 and could easily handle 200-300 gallons..

Euro Reef and ASM used to be one company. They split recently and use the same or similar technology in their skimmers just ASM skimmers are a good 50 bucks cheaper if not more than the EuroReef ones.

Yeah, read some-where that its just the type of plastic that ASM uses to cut down on cost and it dosent harm the performance at all.?.?. Buy the sounds of things I think i will go ASM G2 that should sufficient for 180gals, right?

I also reccommend the ASM skimmer, I think it's probably the best value out there. I sell them too, I don't know what Mike charges but I would go with $235 + tax on a G2 and $265 + tax for a G3. Is that good?

My G3 will arrive in a few days, if it doesn't fit in my stand. It will be up for sale. It'd be cheaper than $200. I will have to get a G-4 for myself.... :)

Oops, I meant $389 :D You got a deal Chap, I'm just tossing out numbers without really thinking about it. You gonna stress over 3.5%?? The thing is I am happy to work with you guys if it's a two way street. The ASM's can be purchaesd at Custom Aquatic which is one heck of a lot closer then LA. If you wait until I'm going anyway you get the best deal. Obviously if you want it NOW it'll cost a bit more.
