View Full Version : FS: 135g glass tank & custom stand

Am transitioning the contents of this tank over to a 180g and am interested in selling the tank, stand & canopy pictured below.

Tank dimensions are 72Lx18Dx24T = 135 gallons
Tank is not drilled. (I used a siphon overflow.)
Glass is 1/2" thick if you want to get it drilled.
I should note...the tank is extremely HEAVY!!

Stand and canopy are custom done (not by me).
Canopy is of my design and had MHs mounted inside. This put the MH about 10" off the water. It would be easy to shrink this distance if you so desire.
Top of canopy is vented, so heat was never an issue.
(For clarity, no lighting is included with this.)

Cabinet stands 33" tall and canopy takes the total height of the unit to 75" tall.
As you'll see in the pics below, the tank/stand combo is furniture quality, and has resided in 2 living rooms.
I'd like to get $350 for tank, stand & canopy, but you're welcome to offer more... ;)

Pics follow ~ You'll see that I used it as a FOWLR. Please ignore evident cyano within tank and diatoms on the glass. I should've cleaned it before taking the pictures. :D

Oh, and I'm located near Temecula...

Of course, I want to get rid of it quicker. :)
BUT I already accepted another guy's offer. The downside that I accepted with his offer is that he can't pick it up for a couple weeks. And, in reality, I wasn't under pressure to get it gone within a week or anything anyway... So it all works out! (assuming he picks it up ;))

I'm kicking myself for not jumping on it the second I saw it posted!!! That extra 2 feet over my 90 would have been nice for stocking my SPS!

I'd be willing to offer more $$ just cause I'm a junky and really wanted it. But alas, I'm #2 in line :(

Saw your post that you're looking for one. Nothing new to report on my end. It won't be confirmed until likely around Nov. 19-21.

Trust me that I'd love to get it out of my garage sooner, but am committed to keeping my word to the other guy. IF it falls through, I'll definitely let you & JJFly enter into a bidding war... ;)

ya right im poor, im just waiting so if jeff gets it, ill get his 90 gallon :)
