Man, this is good move by AJ. People have to respect the chargers passing game now. No more 8 or 9 in the Box. LT will win rushing title again. SB here we come!

Good for Chambers.

I'm a hugh Dolphins fan, but all the great players on the team need to go. to many changes in the staff which is F'in up my team.

To much hope for a old ass QB to take them some place.

How the F is Miami going to trade Chambers for a second round draft.

After week 2 i haven't worn any of my Dolphins gear.:o

Sorry about your Dolphins. They're probably setting up for #1 pick in 2008.

KingRB

yeah and they need a QB but will probably draft a RB.

Why would they draft a Rb when they have Ronnie Brown?

KingRB

Because they keep changing the team, new head coach again. new idea's.

They are going to loose the defense soon Thomas and Taylor will retire soon, especially if they can't even make it to the playoffs.

King,

Someone on other forums mentioned Chambers attitude. Give us the scoop on that.

He has great talent, that wasn't used like it should have been during his time at Miami. Always playing second to a RB. Mostly because Miami has been lacking in the QB department.
Guess you could say at times a disgruntle employee. But not to often.
He will break 1000 yards playing with the chargers...

Looks like Eric Parker is going on IR. Talen-wise, I was fine with our young but developing receiving corp. However, I don't know if Floyd or Buster can last a whole season. Chris Chambers may be a great selection down the road as we make a push for the playoffs/superbowl. One thing did concern me though, if Cam doesn't want him? Hmm...Wait, Cam is a horrible coach! :D

Chambers is a solid 900-1000 yard consistent receiver and former pro-bowler. His only down year was last year because of the whole Culpepepper/Harrington fiasco in Miami.

Now opposing teams are going to have to respect Chambers side as well VJ's and the Chargers can stretch the field with Buster Davis. I think this will open up the offense a bit more.

Looks like Miami is looking forward to clearing cap room to reload/rebuild in 2008. They've given up.

Yeah, this dude killed us in '05. I think a change of scenery may be good for him. Look at what it did for our pothead friend Randy Moss. If he keeps his mojo in check and don't get anymore DUI, he might get a ring at the end of this season ;)

Yup, thats the only thing, he needs to be a good boy while he is here. After leaving an 0-6 team and surrounding yourself with LT, Gates, Merriman and Rivers. I think he'll be have ala Randy "pothead" Moss.

Like you said, change of scenery and a chance to win does wonders because you have to prove yourself all over again to the guys in your locker room. I think he'll come out full bore like as he just left Wisconsin.

Is Chambers really 5-11? he plays much taller than that the way he went over people to get the ball.

Chambers addition is an awesome move. It will give the team the veteran WR it was lacking. He is the guy who is not butterfingering the ball in the crucial moments like our young guns do.
The second round Draft pick he cost us, we will get it back as a comp pick, after Turner sings with an other team for big bucks.

Hopefully not before they upset the Cheatriots. This week's game has "trap game" written all over it! Brady doesn't do well in Miami.

Good pick up. But not good enough to win the Superbowl.

there are still 13 or 14 games to improve, by the time we are going to arizona the team will be running like a swiss watch:D

The Offense is good enough to win the SB. Now our CBs is another story! what a bunch of high draft choice underachiever!

They are not that bad. Gave up one offensive touchdown in last 2 games. I will take that any day. I know it was against DEN and OAK but still not too bad.

that credit goes to the pass rush. Our CBs are average at best. When was the last time we had a sack due to good coverage?

close to the same system as in Miami so he should be a starter.

GoTakuF1
10-19-2007, 03:06 PM
Exactly, Bruno! The nice thing is he doesn't even need to be Tony Martin to make an impact. Dude just needs to show up, run some clean routes, convert a couple of 3rd downs and he'll be worth the 2nd rounder. Now if he commands the defense's #1 CB or even draw double coverage, bonus! :D

I have confidence in PR, he'll shine soon enough. I think the loss of Eric Parker and KMac really hurt his production and contributed to some of those bonehead turnovers. Once Norv is done with him, we'll be saying Brady who? Peyton who?

CC almost had that second touchdown if PR didn't overthrow the pass!

Yeah Yeah, you are just an optimist. No understanding of football but a true fan at heart. :D

But I agree with you, norv is good with QB's and PR will look better soon. Speacally now that he actually has two/three open receicers.

Now that's a compliment :D

Apparently CC has had some Eric Parker-esque easy drops in Miami but looks like he's developing some good chemistry with PR so far.
