Well.. I think it might work, but why not just get a peice of plywood that is the exact size of the tank and place that underneath just to be safe( all the weight of glass is on that frame, which is why I hate glass). I know it is only a 15g but that is still water that could be on the floor and dresser?? Just my .02.
