Scripps is not a good idea with all the rain at the moment.

I would give it some time for the steet run off to go away ( a week or so) before I would go for NSW after a rain.

i wouldnt go till the end of november just to be safe. with TJ's poluted water entering our shores and 180 days of oil and crap on the streets running into the ocean, its gona be sometime till i get scripps.

storm surfing is fun. i dont wait 3 days either. never gotten sick from it. in the winter the water current usually goes south, and in the summer the water usually goes north. in between seasons it can go either way, just depends on storms and swells and where they are located. i havent been surfing in a while, but im pretty sure the water is flowing south, i would be worried about our own run off, but i dont think the TJ River Valley water is coming up to la jolla.
