Looks like another "learning" curve on buying used tanks.

No matter what the buyer says, (on older tanks) consider all light bulbs a wash...(and TEST on the spot) that "Brand New" 250 MH bulb in the box with the $109 price tag is actually $%$#@# worthless!

I have a buyer coming for my tank/system tomorrow afternoon...anyone have a bulb for sale or am I running over to AW?

thx

Always replace the lamps in a used fixture! Even if the seller tells you the bulbs are brand new.
I'd help you but I'm not in town today and will not be back South till Tuesday.

I have a 14K and a 12K. You can have both if you want them. Sorry if I am a little late on the response. Don't know how old they are, but they both work and look good.

Mike, I have a 20K Radium sitting in the garage. Still works, its all yours for free if you need it as a test bulb.

I should not have taken the (CL) seller's word and tested the bulb sooner. The box looked cool though with the $109 price tag still on it.

I sold the setup last night and gave the buyer a $60 credit...so basically he got a 250 MH for $40.

Thanks again.
