I'm just setting up my first real reef tank and am looking for the best place to get new MH bulbs. There seem to be lots of etailers online with similar prices, I was just wondering if any of our LFS around here carry decent MH bulbs for reasonable prices. Prefer to keep my business local if possible...

not from what I seen. your best bet is from online store.

WHat type of MH lamp are you looking for? (wattage, kelvin temp,Metal halide or HQI?)

I'm looking for two 175W 10000K Metal Halide SE lamps. Also, they'll be running on a PFO ballast...not sure how much of a difference that makes.

I can get you a Aqualine Burshke 10,000k 175 watt lamp for $59.91 (tax included) or a Ushio 10,000k 175 watt lamp for $61.02 (tax included). But is you want to try it I have a never used 175watt 12,000k ALS sunburst lamp that I'll sell for $49.00 (wholesale price on this lamp is $60.00)
