not sure what gas it is but some gasses are heavier than others hydrogen being the lightest after a quick google search co2 will do just what was done in that experiment

I remember this trick from a chemistry teacher at the university...

Any super dense colorless gas will give the same results (notice he said it's like anti-helium). There's no such thing as this, what he really meant that it is on the opposite end of the periodic chart when it comes to atomic weight. Hope this clears things up...
