Our youngest "child" has taken to sleeping atop the light fixtures... I know cats like warmth, but that 150w HQI Sunpod gets rather HOT!:)

Don't worry if the light falls in with the cat on top your problems will be solved.

Though everything in the tank might die from electrocution....but other than that!

Me too... we've got 6 purrballs. The kitten is so affectionate & loveable, it's hard to get ticked at it. Except when it decides my face needs a washing at 4AM...

Heh... My cat decided that the first addition to my tank (venomous) would be a delicious after-dinner snack...

That's a lot of *****:)

I would try the water bottle trick, that's how I train my cat.

i'd do the water bottle thingy to, or put tin foil ontop, if the cat jumps on it at the wrong angle your lights are going in.

Mine behaves somehow, my 40 is only maybe 20" off the ground, and my cat just sits there watching for hours from the ground

when she was little, she would climb on my shoulder and fall asleep watching the tanks...was cute, untill she started to fall off and all set of claws come out

OUCH KITTEN CLAWS!!

Russ,

This AM I woke up to M&Ms all over the floor and a hyper kitty. Guess my son smuggled some candy in and hid it under the couch. Willy found it and well, I had a mini crack addict on my hands all day today. He drank two bowls of water. Had to feed him grilled chicken to get some food in him immediately, then had a tweeker kitty all day. Food all over the place. He finally crashed just a while ago.

Congrads on the new addition! Nice looking cat. Hope you haven't forgotten what it takes to raise a kitten...LOL

:) We had a cat that loved chocolate. He would dig into a trash can just to find a wrapper to lick if he smelled chocolate.

Since we're talking pet stories...

The best (and worst) is when you are woken up from your incredibly deep sleep on your sailboat by this horrible screaming noise, run down the dock going ***?!, and realize that it's a cat... YOUR cat... and then find her thirty slips away (about 60 yards) UNDER the dock, drenched, hanging onto the water lines that run underwater.
