would a 3 do good in a 72 gallon tank?...I have a seio 820 and a MJ 1200 in it right now, and a rio 2100 return... I need more flow.. will a 3 do the trick?.. I Need to make the flow more SPS ready..

yes - but you might be better served with two K2's at opposing ends.

thanks CruiseX for giving Noob a reply......i will go with two K2's too. A K3 will do but two K2's have more on both ends rather then having a really strong side n a less strong side with a K3. More even flow with two K2's.

Did they have a recall on the 2's? If I remember right someone here on the boards had problems. It's just a ?. Hell I may have dreamed it? GL Mantis and I just bought 2 4's and love them!

on the 2's and the 3's, but that has been fixed acouple months ago

I have a 3 in my 29g SPS tank, and I want more flow, I would say atleast 2 3's for your 72g

Just bought a 2, runs smooth...like the magnet feature to compliment the suction cups. Excellent price on the 3's, below market.

i got 3 36inch retrofit PCS only used for 3 months for 2 # 3s....

cpr bak pak with MJ1200.. for 1 # 3... + 40 for the other..

20 gallon via aqua curved glass tank + 60 for 2 # 3s....

Or i can just pay for both....
