Gregg, Will their be a static head (how far does the water have to be pushed and how high from the pump to the tank?

Maybe you can explain what a static head is...I really don't know too much about this yet as I just got it.. Its a pacific coast 280 1/10 th and its going on a 55..I have the two hoses that go with it . The guy that sold it to me said I needed a 350 -500 gph to push it. Let me know and thanks, Gregg

I think I know that guy... ;)

CL-280 Aquarium Chiller unit.

High quality, durable, completely enclosed. Digital control.Titanium heat exchanger.

Water flow 500gph minimum 800gph maximum
hose connections 1/2" or 5/8"

12'L x 12" W x 13.5" H
db rating 38
10 degree cooling up to 80 gallons
30 degree cooling up to 45 gallons

Head refers to the height the water is pushed upwards (in height) Water flow is also impacted by curves & bends in the piping. For example, a 90-degree bend reduces flow more than a 45.
