I like his response, "all we can do is try not to look like food" question is how do we do that, besides not wearing a black wetsuit with black fins - seal lookalike contestant- I would think that someone will eventually come up with an odor that deters sharks since they have such an acute sense of smell.

All the reading I have done on sharks simply suggests that they are completely unpredictable, eating everything from license plates to fish to tires to humans... I don't think you can outsmart an animal that is unpredictable, but then again!

that goes back to the " If you play with fire" saying. When your in the water your in their world. You gotta just hope for the best when you go out diving.

Always take a knife with you when you dive.... No not to stable the shark... stab your buddy... :D
