Hey, another drill thread!

I have a 20g (thanks gordo) with a built in corner overflow, drilled and plumbed on the bottom. It is a 1" drain I think, but has the hardware too. So I need to drill a huge hole in my stand that I bought. Question is, I don't have a hole saw larger than one inch, how do I drill the sucker? It doesn't have to be fancy or even circular since the tank will be covering my slop.

THanks

Use your hole saw and than widen it out with a jig saw.

Hey thanks all./

Sounds like it is time to go to Sears and get a new jigsaw.
(The saw-z-all is a little big for this task!)

hook what up? You wanna use my jig or steal my tank? :)

well I haven't bought it yet...... the hole to fit the drain and the collar has to be about 3.5 inches. I have to measure the stand to make sure the hole won't hit the legs. DOH!

If you got time next week though, that would be awesome thx

It would be too cumbersome though........it would be a bull in a china shop approach....it would work but boy would it be a mess.
