Guitar Hero anyone?

I play guitar and have played guitar hero. It is so not the same! When ever i play guitar hero i listen to the music and play the same beat as i hear. But then i get a 2.3 so i guess you cant have an ear for music and play this game.

But it is pretty funny watching everyone playing focused on the screen with their tongues hanging out and a fake guitar arround their neck.

I give the game a 4.

One of my buddies brought over his copy for my BBQ on the fourth - 10 foot screen, 2500 watt JBL soundsystem, blasting Ozzy all day makes for a kickass gaming session. :cool:
I still have the game so I think I'm gonna break it out this weekend:D

Reason I mentioned it is that there are hacked games out there that we have found that have custom songs by the original artists in them... we got a hold of a copy with some three days grace, led zepplin, metallica, green day, alien ant farm... etc. I only play at medium difficulty right now but after jamming last night I'm probably capable of passing some hard level songs now....:cool: it was great.

I have been playing it off and on and really like the game. Got 1 and 2. My wife and I challenge each other. This is truely a game we both enjoy together. Where did you find the hacked games and was it expensive? Interested in obtaining one in the near future.

ha. i can get a five star on expert on the song "dead!" by my chemical romance.
that game is great. the song called "six" by all that remains is the best song along with "jessica" by the allman brothers band. try them!

to play the hacked games you have to have a modded ps2... they don't cost anything if you know where to get them... I guess knowledge is valuable though... that is why we pay doctors and lawyers, right?

Dude Green Day? that is the sickest band ever! Look at my avatar!:D I cant wait till their next album comes out. Where did you get that copy? I would buy it and just play green day songs all day!:D

LOL :p Sounds like a good deal to me. I think I'd trade a PS2 for 50 lbs of LR too. Then again, I work for Playstation so I get them pretty cheap in the first place.

I love Guitar Hero, but Rock Band is gonna be where it's at. You'll need more peripherals to play (at an expense I'm sure), but to have guitar, bass, drums and vocals going at the same time is gonna literally ROCK! :D Of course I'm biased since I'm a drummer :rolleyes:

I've been really lucky getting good deals on my live rock so I've never had to trade my PS2. I'm not playing my gamecube much these days though...

My brother, a gaming guru, usually keeps me supplied on games/systems. He seems to think Rock band will be great too.... I'll have to plan on getting it then.
