The battery back up is good for 24-30 hours depending on the power setting. The pump and battery backup are made by Ecotech Marine/Icecap (http://www.ecotechmarine.com/). There's very strong support for the product since it's backed by Icecap. It has all the newest model parts. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Yep, it is one bad mofo! It can be used on most standard wavemaker at the moment. A single controller made by Icecap/EcoTechMarine will be released by the end of this month (cost only $50 for owner of this model). The single controller should have all the wavemaking algorithms like pulse, modulation, night mode, feed mode, etc.

By the way, how are the frags doing?

That small zooanthid piece you were eyeing is now aptasia free if you are interested...

Marde, was planning a tank set up but we're pending a move (yes, it's back on again) so probably won't need it for quite awhile.
