Okay... never bought one before, but the one that came w/ my house is pretty old. I need to replace it.

What's a good brand?
Where's a good place to buy?
It needs to be 21 cu ft (69 3/4" x 27-5/8" x 35-3/4", or close to it).
How hard is it to install?

THANKS!

check the sears outlet at marina blvd. They might be scratched on the side but you won't see it since the cabinetry will cover it up.

Installation is easy. I will do it for you if you need help. Usualy they deliver/install it for $50 extra.

Don't buy a GE they have to much electronics in them :)

I second Bruno's recommendation. That Sears outlet has great deals on the same stuff you'd be looking at anywhere else. Bought a few things there already :)

The scratch and dent store from Sears is a good bet, been there done that. Just look around the place and good odds you will find something that gets it done. Also just the regular Sears stores are a good bet if the above does not work. The one up at UTC has the full product line on the floor for show and tell.

Who, good god wants or needs an "internet ready" refrigerator? I saw one at Fryes a year or so back, and essentially its a laptop computer installed in the door of the fridge.

Gadgetry....

I bought a fridge from sears outlet for $250, about the same size your looking for. 1 month later the condensor fan broke and sears came and fixed it for free.

It might be scratch/dent but sears warranty still covers any repairs. So I agree with everybody else who suggested to go here.

It's actually on Sherman off of Morena, on the north side of the street. It's a big warehouse , can't miss it.

I live by the Sears Outlet, been there a few times. You have to be really careful because the scratches/dents are usually NOT minor, so you really need to look them over good. Sometimes they are missing shelves, filters, etc... Also, the pricing there can be suspect, they will have a sale but depending on who you talk to the sticker price is Sales price or regular price.

If you are shopping around a holiday (ummm like this week) Best Buy, Lowes and Home Depot are good because they usually have 10% sales and rebates on delivery, sometimes gift cards depending on the make. I have gotten terrible service from Home Depot way too many times so we went to Lowes and got a nice stainless steel Frigidaire with 10% off, and $100 giftcard. Delivery was $60.

Have gone with Sears for years. Last year went with Home Depot and bought a Maytag. Biggest piece of crap ever. Should have kept my Amana I bought at Sears 14 years earlier that never malfunctioned.
