I am using a Kodak Z740. I take a ton of pics, on all sorts of manual settings. Then I sort through to find the best one. I then host the pics at photobucket.

These are known as Nuclear Greens.

Nothing definitive...a definite pathogen of some sort though (flukes are my #1 suspect). The last one to go swam as if it had a broken back, and would have to turn its head sideways to catch food :( Really ugly neurological stuff, yet never a scratch on them (ie as if beaten up). All three were bought together. The current one came from Harold and seems just fine (albeit a bit lonely :p )

you went GA peter, man one of these days...

SDguy
05-30-2007, 07:17 AM
Yeah, it's really the only benefit to my brother moving to Birmingham ;)

The aquarium was very cool! We did the "behind the scenes tour"....I've got lots of pics of giant skimmers, banks of MH lamps, wavemakers the size of bathtubs. We also got to walk the catwalk over the whaleshark tank, so they swam right beneath our feet. I'll start a thread about it shortly....I'm just getting over a messy cold while trying to get back to work.

pnguy3n - Yeah, only a couple of aquariums in Japan have whalesharks...and maybe one in Tailand or Taiwan...I can't remember exactly.

Do you still have the red bugs or is that gone??

That's all done. I completed all three treatments a month or so ago. All shrimp are back in the display. The whole process was painless, honestly. I've even repopulated my pod population thanks to chaeto from jblaze and harold at fragcity.

Cool, where did you get it?

I got a male and sub male. The male is orange, with the red forked tail and tell tale spot in the pectoral base. This is the subordinate...overall pink/peach, no pectoral base spot. So far they get along...we'll see if things change.

Here's some of my group :D

Just picked up this Yellow Fiji Leather at OG on Friday. They had loads of GREAT stuff from their run to LA on wednesday. LOVED this piece. Bought it as soon as I saw it. Never saw something so yellow. It is true sunshine yellow. This piece came with a baby! :) A two-fer. I don't care how big it gets, I'll just keep getting a bigger tank to sustain it :D, I'm in love :D:D:D

Don't Kill it?!?!   ;) I'll have you know that I don't kill things in my tank. :D No, I have the perfect place for it. As you can see in the picture it looks happy, and that is how it looks all the time. Bigger than it was in the tanks at OG. I LOVE it, and yes we do have similar tastes. How are those neon green trumpets BTW? :p I saw a lot of cool stuff I would have nabbed if I felt my tank was perfect. I can't wait to get my nitrates down. A friend of mine has the same exact tank, with 4 fish and never takes care of it, overfeeds and has 0 nitrates. :( His corals look like crap, but still 0 nitrates!!! I can't wait to drill this bad boy for a sump LOL :D
