Sieo Problem

dear reefers,

my SEIO every once in a while creates a tornado and spits out air bubbles creating this loud noise.. how do i fix this?

mine was doing the same thing.. I just lowered the seio until it
stopped doing it.

no no... lower the unit it self.. I had both of mine really high up in
the tank. Tornado effect was instant when I turned them on.
Lowered them about 2 inches and problem went away.

yea, you have it physical to close to the surface.. like cruzer said.

You can also place a small piece of plastic along the top to prevent the tornado from forming. You can just use natural suction or glue.

i have never heard of this brand of pump.
are they a good powerhead? compared to say a maxi-jet....

Seio= high gph at low velocity similar to Tunze stream.

Yes they are good! Much higher water flow without all the high velocity tank disruption.
Come to the NC tank tour tomorrow and you can see mine!
