Here is my 80 gallon that is 5 years old, but has been moved at least 5 times. It has been in its current location for 1 year and with this rock formation for 4-5 months. I run 2 175w Iwasaki 15k halides, 2 54w T5HO ATI B+, 1 T5HO UVL SA and 1 T5HO UVL Day. I have 4 modded powerheads for flow and just recently removed my millenium filter and put on a red sea prizm that I had on there originally but never had good luck with. I recently modded the impeller and venturi of the prizm, and have been getting decent results so far. I have no sump because the tank is not drilled.

wow that a nice tank. I like the variety of stuff. You said it's been setup for five years, has there been any coral or fish that's been with you since the start?

The big blasto, frog and GSP have been with me for 5 years.

The mods are the same instructions as a MJ, but I used Penguins because I already had them. The props are the Octura 1435.

yeah the flow is pretty nice. Everything has been doing very well, especially after I added mt T5s.

DaChrisDude,

Those red zoas I got from you, started with 4, have doubled. The whispy ones decided to attach to my frag tray, so Im not sure what I am going to do with those.

I agree about the TOTM, but I personally love the fact that he doesn't have too much fish.

It looks great. Are the powerheads always on or do you run them with a timer setup?

They are always running. I don't have a sump, so all my flow comes from those guys.

wow great job! how do you keep the surface so clear without an overflow? If you don't run a sump how often do you change your water?

Since I have the powerheads at the surface, it keeps it turbulent and I only get film once in awhile. I change 15 gallons a week.

Yep, it is my Midas Blanny. Very nice looking fish up close, lots of personality and just a tad fiesty.

I only have 5 fish. The midas, orange spot goby, percula clown, sixline and a royal gramma.

Nice tank, looks really clean, and color is splashed nicely throughout it.

That tank would look like a window into the ocean if he built that rock wall all the way up to the surface of the water.

Where can I find the instructions and parts for the mods on the MJ's?

http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=717034&perpage=25&pagenumber=1

I got the props from Reef Chili, the carbon rod from a hobby store (you might be able to get the props there), the shroud, test cap and super glue gel from HD or Lowes and some rigid airline tubing and regular (black) airline tubing from LFS.

Is my memory messing with me or is it your clown that likes to show off when there is people by the glass, I think I remember something like that happening when I came to get those frags.

http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2006-02/rhf/index.php

I believe this is the most updated version. I have been using it for a couple years now and it works great (and says me a ton of money). I used the epsom salts for the magnesium, because I couldn't find the mag flake locally at the time.

And yes, my clown likes to show off!

I am using a Kodak Z740, but I take a ton of pics to find the good ones.
