I believe it is a Favite. You notice the little bubbles hangin out on the rim of the coral? If you want it to grow you better rid those bubbles! The bubles cause decay and rot. Take a turkey baster or small powerhead and blow off your rocks and corals at least once a week or right before a water change. BUT, I love your suspended aquascaping!!!!!!!! Really well planned and appealing. I like the sugar sand too!! Very clean! 2 years huh? After seeing your tank, what the hell are you waiting for? Slam some more coral in that tank and fill it! Your success appears to be good! Corals look open and full.

Thank you. I think im going to start adding some corals in about a month or so or when i get my new quarter cylinder. I am running out of space right now in this tank.

Yeah! The aquascaping is pretty cool! I moved my stuff around several times before I was happy with it. Great looking reef. :)

I got it. it comes natural when you put in calcium and light in your tank. you cant see it that well because in those pictures the rock had detritus on them. i just cleaned it off this afternoon.

Dude, your tank looks really nice!
Man, I wish I started off w/ a tank that sweet back when I was close to your age.
Very impressive and admirable for a teenager to put in the time/effort/patience to have such a nice reef.
keep it up dude, it'll just keep getting better and better.

Thanks it took awhile. the funding is the hard part the easy part is the knowledge.

Yeah, it's that way for most of us.
Luckily you've got a cool dad that's stoked on you and your hobby, a big plus.
