Help have 3-4 days off with about 1200.00 cash need ideas for 2 people 4 NEXT weekend.
Any thoughts?

not sure if it is within budget, but Cardiff by the Sea Bed and Breakfast is pretty nice. unless you are planning on going somewhere else. maybe.....Baja, but i dont know how well you guys camp but a little past ensenada you can find some very nice beaches......

you could just about take a 3-4 day baja cruise from San Diego on that for 2 ppl.

I stayed at a hostel like that in costa rica, it turned out to be a GIANT smoke-fest sponsored by the owner....I love you Rockin Jay!

Some really nice B and Bs right on the coast up in Mendocino county for pretty reasonable ratrs this time of year. Some pretty good wineries up there in the mendo river valley too. Kind of a nicer, less expensive version of napa - bonus, you could hit the Monterey bay aquarium on the drive up.

If you have a week...I'd go down to Bahia de los Angeles, San Ignacio or even head south to Loreto.

we (my lady and I) spent 2 weeks in costa rica, and spent $1800 total -airfare
$5-10 a night for a room (not always the best, but if you look around, we found LUXURY for $10)
$.50 a beer
$3-10 bus ticket to get around
spend the rest on fun stuff:)
