Tks, I was looking for one for a while with this colouration.. I had to snatch em up when I saw him.. I'm glad nobody wanted to buy him as I've grown pretty attached to the guy.

I want to get some shots of him consuming some ghost shrimp

That was the 20L this is a different system.. Right now this system is a displacing 120 gallons of water (in various tanks tied together) Hopefully if I can get the 4x2x1 this week, I'll be able to boost the total water volume to 180-200 gallons..

Vinnie Keeps me from adding any other fish cause if I do.. They ain't going to be there for very long, and he is gaurding the blue torts from Your sticky fingers!

i have just set up a 65g tank conected to my main display and have been trying to figure out exactly what i want to keep in there. one of the options i'm considering is a species tank for an angler. i was just wondering what are some of the care requirments for this species and how difficult is it to get them to eat prepared foods. also what can be safely housed with them, other fish, corals, inverts, macro...etc
i will for sure be doing some research on this, but any info you could share would be much appreciated..
thanks

you can keep corals but shrimp, snail and crabs are lunch. As for fish if it fit's in it's mouth... you guessed it. But they can live in reef tanks- good luck

last time I was at Jeff's he had some yellow angler's for $20 you know the normal angler's that look all fuzzy.

Snails move to slow, right now I feed him Ghost Shrimp, and I'm going to get some saltwater guppies. I also want to try to ween him onto frozen or freeze dried krill.
