SO it has been set up for a few months now. My students absolutley love it and I thought it would be cool to just post some updates.

I am using a 4x24w T5. It does not have the individual reflectors. I am looking for some cheap.

I also do not use a skimmer but I have a refugium that is packed with Macro. There is a pic attached if anyone knows the name of this macro that would be cool. Also if you want any I have alot just give me a PM.

Hope you like it.

The candy cane is from Chanas The students have really enjoyed watching it get better. It started out funky but looks totally healthy now.

hey Jarod! Tanks looks even better than when I saw it a month ago. The clam adds a nice touch.

I think that macro is some species of caulerpa, but I don't know anything more specific than that.

Best guesses

Caulerpa paspaloides (http://clk.about.com/?zi=1/XJ&sdn=saltaquarium&zu=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nmnh.si.edu%2Fbotany%2Fproject s%2Falgae%2Fimages%2FCau-coph.jpg)

Caulerpa serrulata (http://www.geocities.com/clevelandsaltwater/Cserrulata.jpg)

Edit: check here (http://www.coralreefnetwork.com/marlife/stepath/chlorophyta.html), could be Codium edule.
