People at the SDMAS meeting were talking about ordering lights. Anyone interested in pooling an order for lights from this place

They have a bunch of lights on sale on ebay. Here is the link for one of their bulbs.

They are trying to enter the market by "introducing" their products cheaper initially. They have lots of different kinds of metal halide bulbs, 10K, 20K, SE, DE, 150W, 250W, etc. Check out the website. The price on ebay is 37.50 each. The shipping is 11.95. I'm going to call them to see if we can pool an order.

one thing I want to note from reading about these bulbs at ReefCentral is the guy is from Canada. Shipping will take longer, and it is much more difficult dealing with insurance when going over the border.

I just ordered one of the 250w HQI's. I couldnt find any info on the web about the bulbs, but I'll post some feedback when I get it.

Perhaps I visited the site on a bad day, but when I look at products all I get is "under construction".

Might be easier to develop interest if the web site worked or information on the products was available?

I need some lighting for my 125 and would be interested in a group buy, if I can get a good product at a good price.

I checked the site too, it worked for me but there is not much info about those lamps. You are not saving that much, better to go with a known product IMO.

the site sucks, but the guy is pretty active on RC. Still, I love my (new) Coralvue bulb, lots cheaper than Iwasaki. No shipping issues..... $60 versus >$60 no actinic, woohoo!
