thanks to rudy, i am now starting my downgrade, it's a 40 gallon drilled tank, 20 gallon sump, asm g3 skimmer, rio 2100 return (gonna upgrade this), 1 24watt t5 light over the sump, aqua medic 150wt hqi under the hood... nothing special, but thought i would share. i still have to move a my rocks and livestock that i am not selling over from the 110 tomorrow, but getting somewhere... =)

looking good!! like the rockwork, too bad you had to downgrade but it looks sweaome and it will look alot better sooner then the 110 would have, its easier to fill it up faster and make it look AWESOME!!! :D keep it up and good luck with the 5 month old and a baba...dont have ANY kids just kittens but i dont think i would be able to manage 2 kids AND a reef tank!! lol

Maybe I'm in a good position, starting my tank up again, I'm looking for direction, as I have a 60 gallon, and a aquapro cpr refug. I've not gotten to the point of getting it circulating, soon though. I am not sure if it is better to go with the glass drilling and run the pipes through  not around  but I've got the 2.5 yr old and the almost 1 yr old and would love to get it going so they can enjoy too.
My lighting sucks:mad: as all I have is some hamilton crap masters, anyone know what does well under a hood and doesn't heat the water too much.
Please the 2 questions plus encouragement is needed. Thanks, you guys (and gals) are really helpful and know quite a bit. Good on 'ya.
