50 tanks... care to list them? I mean, some people have 50 10g's, but you have big tanks.

You did good. How did you resize the pictures.

On the topic. How much time do you spend maintaining your tanks. They all look like they get lots of attention.

The amount of time kind of depends on the task, amount of algae growht, rate of evaporation, how much RO water I have made up and heated for use and how aged the salt water replacement is (2 days minimum usually) Best time estimate on a weeekly basis is approximately 10 to 12 hours (ggod part-time job). Salt tanks get first priority. I do have a schedule set up but have a lot of "interference factors" that inevitably crop up, ie.: my 2 granddaughters and my wife's health (she is a dialysis patient)
I resized the pics by googling "free photo editors" and downloaded some free shareware. I have Nero Ultra, not on this puter presently, CD and instructions are on loan to a friend. It's really the best and you can do lots of "stuff" with it.:)

Thanks, will do my best, especially as my photography skills improve. And I highly reccomend Bob Fenner's book "The Conscientious Marine Aquarist"

Looks great Don....Love the Discus tank. We'll hafta put you on the Tank Tour for NCRMAS :D (and then just never leave as your home aquarium systems seem to rival those of some public aquariums).

Do you bleach your corals? How do you keep them so white?

57?!?!

Yes I do bleach them as necessary. Strangely the artifical ones usually accumulate less algae than do the dead skeletons of the real ones. I suspect some kind of protective coating or less porosity in the material they are made, whereas the actual skeletons have a lot more nooks and crannies ideal for starting algae adherence, less current also permiting the spores to start easy growth. Light of course is also a factor. Comments on this subject are welcomed from everyone. Ciao
